From Székesfehérvár and the rest of Fejér County we deliver to your Czech or Slovak plant usually in 2–3 days; Brno is about 290 km away and Prague about 490 km, so Moravian sites get their goods noticeably sooner.
Fejér and Veszprém: what is made where and how it travels
The area between Lake Balaton and the Danube mainly supplies Czech and Slovak buyers with components – electronics for production lines, metal semi-finished products and parts for car plants. Each needs a different vehicle:
| Place | Typical goods | Vehicle and loading |
|---|---|---|
| Székesfehérvár | assembled PCBs, control units, measuring and laboratory instruments from contract manufacturers | closed dry vehicle with no transhipment, shipper's ESD packaging and totes, pallets stacked only if approved |
| Székesfehérvár – aluminium rolling mill | aluminium strip in coils, sheet and plate | coil trailer with a well, crane loading, sheet on timber bearers |
| Dunaújváros | hot- and cold-rolled steel coils, heavy plate | coil trailer, plate laid lengthwise with straps and edge protectors |
| Veszprém and Mór | car parts – plastics, wiring harnesses, pressings | curtainsider, call-offs in time windows, empty racks and totes back |
| Várpalota | smaller engineering and industrial production | groupage, or added to a Székesfehérvár load |
To Rajka without crossing Budapest
A truck from Székesfehérvár does not need to go anywhere near Budapest. The shortest way is road 81 through Mór and Kisbér to Győr, then the M1 and M15 to the Rajka/Čunovo crossing, past Bratislava onto the D2 and through Břeclav to Brno; Bohemian deliveries continue on the D1 to Prague. For motorway all the way, the M7 and the western M0 ring lead to the M1 – longer, but the safer choice when road 81 has roadworks. From Dunaújváros the route is the M6 and M0, or via Székesfehérvár. Hungarian HU-GO tolls and the Slovak and Czech tolls are included in the price we quote. Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic are all in Schengen and EU goods need no customs clearance. Trucks over 7.5 t face weekend and public-holiday restrictions in Hungary.
Electronics, coils and call-off parts: what to watch
- Sensitive instruments – measuring equipment and boards travel closed, dry and without transhipment; on request we arrange an air-suspension vehicle.
- Weight before volume – a handful of steel coils reaches the payload of about 24 t long before the 13.6 loading metres are full; aluminium behaves similarly.
- Oversize – wide plate or large machines travel with permits that we arrange in advance.
- Time windows – for lines in the Czech Republic and Slovakia we plan arrival to the hour and take empties back to Veszprém or Mór.
What we need for your quote
Tell us the loading place in Hungary and the delivery site in the Czech Republic or Slovakia, the goods, the number and weight of pallets or coils, and any vehicle requirements (ESD, coil well, air suspension). During office hours you get a price within 30 minutes, and after confirmation a vehicle is usually arranged within 24 hours. From one pallet the goods go by groupage; urgent parts can go by van carrying 5 to 10 pallets.
