From Opole and Opole Voivodeship we deliver to the Czech Republic in 1–2 days; Prague is about 300 km away, Brno about 320 km, and destinations in northern Moravia and Czech Silesia are often reached the same day.
The Opole region between Wrocław and Upper Silesia: what loads where
The voivodeship sits on the A4 motorway and the Oder, squarely between two big industrial areas. For buyers and plant logisticians in Czech factories these are the places that matter:
| Place | Typical goods | Loading note |
|---|---|---|
| Opole | cement, building materials, metal parts for automotive, food | bagged cement on pallets is heavy – 24 t is reached before the deck is full |
| Gogolin and Krapkowice | cement and lime from the quarries along the Oder, precast elements | loading at the silo or by forklift, stretch-wrapped pallets |
| Strzelce Opolskie | production and storage halls right at the A4 exit, metalworking | fast motorway access, handy for a second pick-up |
| Nysa | automotive parts, metal products, food | production windows and returnable packaging back to Poland |
| Brzeg | food production, packaging | shelf-stable goods in cartons, full-height pallets |
| Kędzierzyn-Koźle | metalworking, river port on the Oder | components from halls in the port zone |
Two short ways into the Czech Republic
There is no single correct route from Opole – we pick it by the unloading address:
- Over the Jeseníky mountains: from Nysa via Głuchołazy to the Mikulovice crossing, then through Jeseník to Šumperk and Olomouc. Fewer kilometres, but mountain roads; in winter and fully loaded we use it with care.
- By motorway: A4 to Gliwice, A1 to the border at Bohumín and the D1 to Ostrava, Olomouc, Brno and on into Bohemia. Longer, but smooth and reliable all year.
Polish and Czech tolls are included in the price we quote. For Slovakia the truck continues from the Ostrava area via Mosty u Jablunkova or along the D1 towards Žilina.
Heavy pallets, JIT and empties
Building materials from the Opole region are typical weight-out loads: bags of cement, mortar or lime hit the 24 t limit at roughly half the pallet places, so we need the weight, not just the pallet count. Automotive parts, on the other hand, run to a production window: we agree the dock slot at the Czech plant in advance and can take empty returnable boxes back to Nysa or Opole as a return load. For smaller quantities a van for about 5 or 10 pallets is enough, groupage starts at 1 pallet, and a full trailer takes 33 euro pallets on 13.6 loading metres.
What to put in your enquiry
Loading address (town and postcode), delivery point in the Czech Republic or Slovakia, type of goods, number and size of pallets, total weight and the date you need.
