From Zielona Góra and the Lubusz region we deliver to the Czech Republic in 1–2 days; Prague is about 300 km away and Brno about 400 km, so Bohemia is closer from here than Moravia.
Lubusz economic zones on the German border: what we collect
Lubusz Voivodeship is a wooded region on the Oder and Neisse. Alongside wood and furniture makers, special economic zones have grown here with suppliers to the electrical and automotive industries. An overview for buyers at Czech plants:
| Zone / town | Goods | Transport note |
|---|---|---|
| Kostrzyn nad Odrą and Słubice | wood and paper products, packaging, warehouses on the Brandenburg border | northernmost point – easy to combine with a pick-up in Gorzów |
| Gorzów Wielkopolski | components for the automotive and electrical industries | series deliveries to a production window, empties back |
| Zielona Góra | electronics and electrical parts, furniture, metalworking | sensitive boards in ESD packaging, cartons on pallets |
| Nowa Sól | industrial park on the S3: metal parts, automotive supply | right on the southbound route, ideal as first or last pick-up |
| Żary | wood processing, furniture parts, textiles | bulky goods – loading metres count, not weight |
South on the S3, or via Görlitz and Liberec?
- The S3 route: the expressway runs from Zielona Góra via Nowa Sól and Lubin to Legnica and on through the foothills to Kamienna Góra and the Lubawka–Královec crossing. On the Czech side the truck heads via Trutnov towards Hradec Králové and the D11 to Prague, or via Pardubice and the D35 to Olomouc and Brno.
- The western option: via Żary onto the A18 and A4 to Zgorzelec, a short stretch through Görlitz and Zittau and into Liberec. It suits deliveries in the Liberec region and northern Bohemia; on the German section the Sunday driving ban for trucks over 7.5 t applies.
Polish, where relevant German, and Czech tolls are included in the price we quote. For Slovakia the goods continue from Hradec Králové on the D35 and D1 across Moravia.
Furniture and electronics: volume versus sensitivity
Furniture panels, boards and upholstered items from Żary or Zielona Góra fill a trailer before they reach its weight limit, so we work in loading metres (a full trailer has 13.6 m and 33 euro pallets). For non-stackable goods we need to know whether the pallets can take weight on top. Electronics from the Lubusz zones are light but sensitive to shocks and static: pallets with boards and modules are strapped down and not reloaded on the way. Groupage starts at 1 pallet, and for urgent smaller lots we arrange vans for about 5 or 10 pallets.
How to request a quote from Lubusz
- Zone or loading town with postcode, and the delivery point in the Czech Republic or Slovakia.
- Whether it is furniture, electronics or parts, plus pallet count or loading metres and weight.
- Loading date and, if any, the production window at your plant.
We send the price within 30 minutes during office hours and usually arrange the vehicle within 24 hours of confirmation. Goods from Poland, an EU country, travel without customs.
