How does the Brno → Budapest route run?

From Brno we take the D2 via Břeclav into Slovakia, follow the Slovak D2 past Bratislava to the Čunovo – Rajka border crossing and continue on the Hungarian M15 and M1 motorways via Győr and Tatabánya to the Budapest ring road M0. The route is about 300 km on the motorways of three countries.

A truck loaded in Brno in the morning usually unloads in Budapest the same afternoon; large sites on the edge of the city can also be served in an agreed time slot the next morning.

Where do we load and unload between Brno and Budapest?

In Brno we load in the industrial and logistics zones of Černovice, Slatina near the airport, Modřice and Hrušovany u Brna, and also in Kuřim, Rajhrad and in Břeclav directly on the route.

In Budapest we mainly unload at the logistics parks along the M0 – Budaörs, Törökbálint and Biatorbágy in the west, Gyál, Üllő and Ecser in the east, and the airport cargo zone. The industrial centres of Győr, Komárom and Tatabánya are easy to serve on the way.

What is shipped between Brno and Budapest?

Engineering and automotive parts, electrical goods, packaging, consumer goods for wholesale and building materials dominate this route.

Smaller shipments are consolidated with pick-ups or drops in Bratislava or Győr. For full loads we arrange an articulated truck for 33 euro pallets, for urgent shipments a van.

What to watch out for on the Brno → Budapest route

  • Brno → Budapest is bilateral transport and the drive through Slovakia is transit, so the driver posting rules do not apply.
  • The M0 ring around Budapest is congested at morning and afternoon peaks, so unloading is planned outside rush hours.
