What is the route from the Czech Republic to Denmark?

There are three ways into Denmark. For Jutland (Aarhus, Billund, Vejle) we drive overland via Dresden, Berlin and Hamburg on the A7 to the Padborg crossing – Prague to Aarhus is about 1,000 km. For Copenhagen and the islands we go via Rostock on the ferry to Gedser (about 2 hours) or via Puttgarden on the ferry to Rødby (about 45 minutes); by road it is around 720 km from Prague.

Jutland and Zealand are linked by the Great Belt bridge. The shipment usually reaches the consignee within 2 days of loading.

  • Border: Denmark is in Schengen but has carried out spot checks at the German border near Padborg in recent years – we allow for possible delays.
