What is the route from the Czech Republic to Belgium?
We reach Belgium through Germany. From Prague the route follows the D5 and A6 to Nuremberg, the A3 via Würzburg, Frankfurt and Cologne and the A4 via Aachen to the border at Lichtenbusch. Liège is about 800 km from Prague, Brussels around 900 km and Antwerp roughly 930 km.
From Brno each of these routes is about 200 km longer. The border lies inside Schengen and the shipment usually reaches the consignee within 2 days of loading.

What do we transport to Belgium?
To Belgium we carry engineering products, parts for car production in Ghent, glass, building materials and export goods via the ports of Antwerp-Bruges and Zeebrugge. We also run regularly to the port of Antwerp and to logistics centres around Brussels and Liège.
Belgium is bilingual – Flanders speaks Dutch, Wallonia French, and towns often have two names (Antwerpen/Anvers, Luik/Liège, Bergen/Mons). We therefore check the address by postcode so the driver heads to the right place.
Which tolls and rules apply in Belgium?
- Tolls: Belgium charges a distance-based toll for vehicles over 3.5 t on motorways and selected roads; rates differ between Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels. Germany also charges by distance on the way.
- Driving ban: Belgium has no nationwide weekend truck ban. The German Sunday and holiday ban applies on the route.
- Low-emission zones: Antwerp, Brussels and Ghent have low-emission zones restricting older vehicles – for city centres we choose the truck by emission class.
- Ports: collecting a container in Antwerp requires the shipping line's release and PIN.
