What is the route from the Czech Republic to Germany?
A dense network of motorway crossings links the Czech Republic with Germany. For the north and Saxony we take the D8 across the Ore Mountains to Dresden (about 150 km from Prague) and on to Leipzig, Berlin and Hamburg. For Bavaria and the west the D5 runs via Rozvadov–Waidhaus to Nuremberg (about 290 km), from where we continue to Frankfurt, Stuttgart or the Ruhr.
For Munich we cross at Rozvadov or via Strakonice and Philippsreut, and from Brno via Linz and Passau. From Prague it is about 350 km to Berlin, 510 km to Frankfurt, 500 km to Stuttgart and 650 km to Hamburg. The shipment usually reaches the consignee 1–2 days after loading, often the same day for Saxony and Bavaria.

What do we transport to Germany?
We carry more to Germany than to any other country – parts and components for car plants and suppliers in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Lower Saxony and Saxony, engineering products, glass, building materials, packaging and palletised goods for distribution centres nationwide.
German warehouses work with booked time slots and strictly enforce ramp safety rules. We agree the slot in advance and the driver carries the consignee's order number.
Which tolls and rules apply in Germany?
- Tolls: Germany charges a distance-based toll for vehicles over 3.5 t on all motorways and federal roads; the rate includes a CO₂ component.
- Driving ban: vehicles over 7.5 t may not drive on Sundays and public holidays from 00:00 to 22:00. From 1 July to 31 August there is also a Saturday ban (07:00–20:00) on selected motorways.
- Regional holidays: some holidays apply only in individual states – for example Corpus Christi in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg or Reformation Day in Saxony – and the driving ban applies there too.
- Environmental zones: many German cities require the green emissions sticker (Umweltplakette) – for city centres we arrange trucks that have it.
