Where we collect in Austria – and what comes from where

  • Vienna and Lower Austria — distribution centres, food, electrical goods, the OMV refinery in Schwechat.
  • Upper Austria — Linz (voestalpine steelworks), Steyr (BMW engine plant), Wels: steel, automotive, engineering.
  • Styria — Graz (Magna Steyr, contract car manufacturing), Leoben: automotive and steel.
  • Salzburg — city and surroundings: food and drinks, logistics.
  • Tyrol — Wattens (Swarovski), Innsbruck.
  • Vorarlberg — Höchst (Blum furniture fittings), Dornbirn: textiles and fittings.

Route and transit time

From Vienna we drive via Drasenhofen – Mikulov or Kleinhaugsdorf – Hatě, from Linz via Wullowitz – Dolní Dvořiště (S10/D3). Vienna–Brno is about 140 km, Linz–Prague around 240 km. From Salzburg and Tyrol allow 1 day, from Vorarlberg 1–2 days.

What to keep in mind: Austria has a weekend ban for trucks over 7.5 t from Saturday 15:00 to Sunday 22:00 and night restrictions for noisy vehicles. Tolls are paid via GO-Box and included in the price.

How the import works

  1. Send us the loading address in Austria, quantity and required date.
  2. Within 30 minutes you receive the price for the import from Austria and a proposed loading date.
  3. During transport you know where the truck is, and we confirm the unloading time the day before.
  4. After delivery you receive the signed CMR consignment note.

Full trucks and single pallets

For large volumes we arrange a full truck (33 Euro pallets, 24 t). Smaller shipments travel as a part load or groupage – you pay only for the space they take. Chilled goods travel in a reefer trailer with monitored temperature.

Documents and customs

Austria is in the EU, so goods are not cleared through customs. An invoice and a CMR note are enough; alcohol and tobacco also need the excise accompanying document.
